Pakistan Pharmacist Federation exists since 1989 with the name of “Pharmacist Forum”. That was then become Pakistan Pharmacist Federation in 2009; and we have pooled our resources in order to present a unified front to the community on issues affecting pharmacy profession. Since that day, Federation has established a proud history of pharmacists working together to create an association for the betterment of profession. We encompass the entire breadth of life sciences which also reflected in the range of our activities. Therefore, we have expanded our horizon by accepting the affiliated and/ honorary members. We also believe that being part of community we have to encourage the scholar, foster the issues and deliver mission more effectively. As the role of the pharmacist has evolved and grown over the past 300 years, therefore Pakistan Pharmacist Federation has unified stance on causes and battles important to the profession to raise the pharmacist’s profile. Thus; we are striving to implement drug rules, enforce clinical setups, update pharmaceutical services and publish trusted therapeutic informations. We have pooled our resources in order to present a unified front to the community on issues affecting pharmacy profession in Pakistan. Being an independent professional body we have a brilliant democratic history to conduct a free and fair election every year. Thus; in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section-III; clause 11-36 of the constitution, Prof. Dr. Taha Nazir, President Pakistan Pharmacist Federation has appointed an “Election Commission” under the skilled headship of Malik Muhammad Waheed Principal Norani Institute of Paramedics, Jehlum, Pakistan. This electoral procedure will be completed before January 05, 2015. The final body of Exective Body will be disclosed on January 10, 2015.
Moreover, in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section-III; clause 11-36 of the constitution, the provincial election committees have also been announces by Prof. Arif Arain president Sind, Abdul Aleem president Punjab and M. Mudasar Khan president KPK as under;
